Hey guys,
I'm gonna get to it. My questions are based on 2 different topic IT Tech and a Network Security Specialist or Administrator. With that being said My questions are:

Part 1: Network Security Specialist or Administrator!
1) Is there any difference between Network Security Specialist vs a Network Security Administrator?
2) Network Security Specialist or Administrator Job Profile and Description?
3) Duties & Responsibilities?
4) Education, Qualifications, Certification Needed?
5) Annual Income?
6) * Any other important question I missed?

6) Should I become or more importantly is it needed to become a IT Tech before becoming Network Security Specialist or Administrator?

Usually Specialist and Administrator are the same thing but Specialists usually refers to a less experienced admin. Usually, it all really depends on what the HR in that particular company decides to use as a title.

For the rest of the things, it varies from job to job, why don't you go on Monster.com and look at the different postings for those jobs? Salary is pretty wide also, a Network Admin will get more than just a Tech, usually by 10-20k a year more, sometimes more depending on the position. A starting PC Tech would get around 30-40k a year depending on the location and company, a starting Network Admin will get 50-70k, and sometimes higher if they have a good specialty like UNIX admin and experience. Usually but not always, Network Admins do start working as a regular computer tech.
