APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within the next 1-4 Months

BUDGET RANGE: $800 if worth it $700 is the sweet spot

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, youtube/web/misc online, student needs, etc

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS (can include vista/w7 if in budget), monitors

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg or mwave ( I live within 10 miles of the mwave warehouse)

PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD cpu, asus board, evga gpu

OVERCLOCKING: Not needed

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Not sure what monitor will go to; been using an old fx5200 @ 1680x1050 forever

What I've come up with:

Solution
Spend 10 more and get the black, the green is designed to be low power and quiet, it will not give very good performance.

I would advise against getting a 790GX and an nVidia card, if you are going to get an nVidia card get a 770 or a 785G, if you are going to get a 790GX get a 4870 or 4890 so you can crossfire in the future.

I just saw the COOLER MASTER Centurion 590 in person at my local MicroCenter (where I picked up my $199 Core i7 920). Lots of airflow if additional fans purchased. No sharp edges that I could see. Decent size. It's on my list as well...
