I've got a CPU question.

On a 9950 phenom cpu, is it 2.6ghz per core (equaling 10.4ghz), or 2.6ghz altogether (for all 4 cores). Plz help, thnx.

2.6ghz per core but it does not mean 10.4ghz because then the PS3 would operate at 28ghz.

Each core takes care of a task and can run that task at upto 2.6ghz at stock speeds. But some tasks can use multiple cores which allow them to use more cache but also leave less room for other tasks if you get what I mean.
