[SOLVED] I've put in 16gb 3200mhz, but it's telling me i got 2400mhz.

Hey, just now, i upgraded to a 16 (8x2) gig 3200Mhz ram. My previous ram was 8gig (x1) 2400Mhz. I loaded up my pc, it's telling me i got 16gigs of ram, but it's still at 2400Mhz of speed, just like my old ram was?
I have got a:
GTX 1060 3GB GPU
ASUS ROG STRIX B350-f Gaming MBO
Ryzen 5 2600x CPU

I have reasearched that both my CPU and MBO are able to run at 3200Mhz.
Can anyone help me, should i change it in the bios to 3200Mhz?

You have to go into the bios, and enable DOCP.

DOCP is Asus's term for XMP, for AMD boards.

Hey, i looked at the bios, it is already turned on DOCP, there is also a DOCP Standard, but nothing changes when i change it to that

Try a cmos reset, then enable it again.

Glad that it worked for you. CMOS reset can be quite useful in the troubleshooting process, when having issues with an upgrade. I have had boards that wouldn't post, when changing the GPU, unless I did a reset.
