Hi there, I'm using Acer E5-571G-750T

Intel Core i7-4510U
NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2GB
4GB DDR3
1TB

My problem is, my laptop's display of text are so blur, the images i take on websites and other photos are so pixelated and they do not provide clear or crisp image.

I updated my drivers to their latest version including my Display Drivers. But it seem it doesn't solve the problem. I'm using Windows 10 and it's currently on Anniversary Edition. Please help!

Is it visibly a display error? Is your internet loading the images you have properly? Try to eliminate errors. Since it's a laptop, there aren't many parts you can swap out, so unless it's an OS issue, you may have to get it repaired by the manufacturer.

That sounds like a setup issue with the resolution, but since I can't see the image it's hard to tell.

A defective screen should be obvious, and a defective GPU should show squares of corrupted data or some other major issue.

I'm also not sure if you have an Intel GPU for desktop and light usage, but use the NVidia 840M for games/apps (in a list).

Anyway, try changing:
a) resolution (right-click desktop), and
b) Scaling (should not be using scaling.)

Other:
Some programs require you to use CLEARTYPE to help sort out text issues. If that's the case, then:
a) bring up the affected program, then
b) type in "cleartype" and open that program
c) play around while looking at the text. (sometimes it's blurry, or may have a slight purple edge)

Other:
1. Is this EVERYTHING?
2. If not, then if it's a web browser you can:
a) adjust scaling (i.e. right-click and scroll), or
b) try another browser

Please be more SPECIFIC as to the problem.

I can see it and I can say it has a problem with the settings on my display. But I can't figure it out. Yes, images are loading but it's not the same quality as my other unit. I can even play League of Legends on 60fps but the quality of objects are pixelated like, should i say there's no "Anti Aliasing" applied. Forgive me but I don't know what's the right term for it.

Yes it has Intel HD Graphics 4400 installed. And both of them are installed with their latest version. My native resolution is 1366x768. It won't go higher anymore. I'm also done setting up the ClearType settings but the problem still persists. I'll upload some sample photos check if that's same as yours.

1) We may need a screenshot
2) Was this a problem BEFORE and an update changed things?
3) are all programs affected?
4) What SCREEN RESOLUTION are you set to (right-click desktop, display settings, advanced).
5) What resolution is LoL set to?
6) In LoL have you applied anti-aliasing?

7) *is it possible you are not running with the NVidia driver with LoL? (if you have "Share" enabled it should pop-up when the game launches)

This is the real image:

2) Was this a problem BEFORE and an update changed things?
Nope, I had this problem since I started opening this for the first time.

3) are all programs affected?
yes, all of it. I'm watching a 1080p 60fps video from YouTube but it's only like a 720p 60fps video.

4) What SCREEN RESOLUTION are you set to (right-click desktop, display settings, advanced).
5) What resolution is LoL set to?
I'm using 1366x768 60p Hz for both.

6) In LoL have you applied anti-aliasing?
Nope.

7.) *is it possible you are not running with the NVidia driver with LoL? (if you have "Share" enabled it should pop-up when the game launches)

Haven't experienced it yet. How is that possible? If I'm disabling Intel Graphics HD Display adapter and retaining the GeForce 840M from device manager. My fps will go down dramatically from 60fps to 10fps.

I think I got it. The laptop's LCD is what making the display pixelated, jagged text and objects. Because I tried to connect it to one of monitor here using VGA Adapter. And I compared it to my laptop's screen. The display on monitor is much more sharp, clean, and crisp.

Okay, but what is the RESOLUTION of the external monitor?

Your laptop screen is 1366x768 so you are naturally going to see more jagged edges and text that is not as crisp in comparison to a higher resolution monitor.

I saw no issues with the picture you posted me, but keep in mind it's copied from video memory so if there HAD been something physically wrong with the screen it wouldn't show the problem.

But monitor screen issues are pretty obvious. Dead pixels, or light bleed around edges, poor viewing angles or just crappy color.

Things like aliasing, sharpness etc again seem to be simply a function of having less pixels than other monitors.

I suppose there still may be a setting issue, but the screenshot seems fine. Other than actually seeing a good photo from a camera I have no other info to go on.
