Question Joycons not working properly after stick replacement ?

Hey, so I recently replaced the sticks on my Joycons as they had an awful drift and were unbearable to use. The process was fairly simple and I thought I did a very good job. Sadly, that was not the case and, despite both Joycons working perfectly fine when directly connected to the console (as in, not connected wirelessly), with absolutely no drift, when I want to use them wirelessly, some things stop working.

• First of all, the LEDs on my right Joycon that indicate if it is on, and which player is using it stopped working;
• The SR/SL and Sync buttons on my right Joycon are also not working;
• The left Joycon stick doesn't work anymore (no stick input is received by the console), despite every other button working correctly.

I reopened both sticks to make sure everything was connected properly and nothing was/seemed broken, but everything looked normal to me, even when compared to pictures of new Joycons I found online.
Any idea what I could do to fix those issues? Thanks

Is it certain that the Joycons are genuine and not counterfeit?

I bought them from Amazon, but I don't know how to check if they are genuine or not, though obviously I didn't buy them from Nintendo themselves...

As I understand it all it is not difficult for counterfeit products to get inserted into Amazon's supply stream. Likewise for other vendors as well.

Historically, counterfeit products could be detected via various flaws and mistakes in packaging, product labels, and the actual product itself.

Bad guys have become more careful in order to just keep the deceit and subsequent profits going.

If you know someone who has known working Joycons take a close look at what they have. Compare to your Joycons.

Or go to a store if at all possible and take a close look.

Online photographs may prove helpful - however, the crooks may photo shop images or just outright copy a legitimate product photograph.

Oh, my bad, I thought you meant the sticks.
I'm 100% sure the Joycons are original as they are those that came with the console.

What I did was get new sticks because the drift was unbearable, so I replaced the sticks in my Joycons with new ones, but the Joycons are still the ones that were included alongside my Switch.

The underlying issue(s) being both the nature of the problem (Nintendo) and the quality of the replacement/new sticks.

Third party products vs genuine (perhaps) Nintendo replacements.
