Jpeg is not a valid win32 application xp

Hello,
when I click on a jpeg, i get this error: C:/Documents and Settings\carasmith\Desktop\ CAra.jpeg is not a valid Win32

Rename it CAra.jpg, or right-click it and select "open with" and assign your picture viewer to open files ending with .jpeg.
