So i'm in the process of building a computer, and i want brand/specific part recommendations based on what i have so far:
Cpu: Fx-8350
Gpu: Sapphire hd 7970 dual x
mobo: Asus sabertooth 990fx
case: Some chieftek case idk which model it's old but does the job well
Monitor: An old ~21" monitor that works
Do you think I should upgrade my monitor/case, would it make a difference? What brands/parts should i get in terms of the power supply, RAM, and Storage (i'm not getting an ssd).

Solution
I'm pretty sure he doesnt need a 1000watt psu for a single 7970 setup.

For a psu I like corsair, xfx, seasonic, I'd go with a 750 or 800 for upgrades in the future

I prefer Western digital over seagate, have rma'd two drives already from them and not a single WD drive.

RAM u can get 8gb 2400mhz for $63 with promo right now at newegg. There Gskill ripjaws z or ares both have a promo ending soon bringing price down to low $60s
