Just got a Laptop With 9700m GTS What does it compare to?

I got a Toshiba that came with a NV 9700M GTS, I paid around 1500 for the laptop (17') 1440 REsolution.

I wanted to kno what card can it be comparable to?

I kno that the 9700 GT has 32 pipelines, and the GTS has 48 which is why I didn't get the GT.

And I kno it performs a little better (or a little worse) than the 8700 GT in SLI.

But when it comes to Desktop graphics, I don't kno what to compare it too.

If any1 has an idea I would really appreciate it😀
