I have a question about the power supply needed for this board. I am not
knowledgeable about power supplies and was wondering if anyone could guide
me through this.
Currently I am running am enermax 350 on another board ( same make/model)
and blew the same type of board by putting a 500 on it, but that could have
been my fault due to the fact it was a cheap ps bought on Ebay. I wont make
that mistake again!.

The info for this board is at:
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=10
What is the highest PS I can run on this board?

thanks
Cindy

Any ATX PSU. The fact the 500 blew the board is not related the fact it is
500 watts, that's just a coincidence. What hardware will you be running on
this new PSU?

Just out of interest, is the board killed by the 500 the same one you got
the BIOS chip from mentioned in your BIG bios problem thread of the 5th?
