I went from a Asus P5A,A7V,A7V266 and I am building one with the K7T266pro2/ru. Has any one had some good experienes with this board.I just wanted try somthing different than Asus for a change. Thanks Bruce

Man, I bought the basic version of this board (no RAID or USB 2) to go with an AMD XP1700.

IT IS UNREAL! You can't go wrong with this board or even the souped-up RU version. It is the most feature-packed board I've seen lately with GREAT performance.
The 266A chipset rocks with DDRRAM. The BIOS is also a tweakers paradise, and all reviews I've read about it gush with nothing but praise for this board.

Buy one, you won't regret it!

I swore I would never buy an MSI product again after getting caught up in the 6341 100/133 FSB debacle. I got a good deal at the local warehouse on a Pro2 without the RAID and was immediately pissed off. The secondary IDE channel wouldn't work. So, before I could even get the thing up and running properly I had to upgrade the BIOS. Since then this board has been a rock-solid performer. Just beware of poor customer service at MSI. You get better customer service by posting your questions here.
