I bought a new PC and when I set it up there were these horizontal pink lines on the screen and I kept getting code 43 so I rang up the tech support and told them what was happening and they said that it probably broke in transit and they sent me an RMA link and sent a new graphics card. when I got the new card windows kept crashing before I could get past the login screen. So I rang tech support back up and they said to use recovery media to repair windows. I did this and my PC seemed to work properly for a few hours. But after that the artifacts came back and I got code 43 again in device manager. So i decided to reinstall windows fresh and when I did that the artifacts went until I installed the drivers for the GPU then they came back and I got the code 43 again too.
Just wondered what could cause this problem with the GPU? Is it possible that I just got a second bad one?
Thanks for any advice.
