Hi so im not sure if this is the right place to post but,
My friend had a rtx 2070 It started to artifact so we RMA'd the card and had to wait so we decided to put his r9 380 in for now it worked for the time being until he started getting black screens for no reason i mean watching youtube at night falling asleep waking up and the pc is in lockup literally forcing us to Hard reset the pc,

Now his r9 380 is quite old the computers completely intel,
i7 8700k
rtx 2070<<have switched to r9 380 in the meantime
Z390 E-gaming mobo
2 ssds both 500gb
750 watt powersupply eco mode on
2 sticks of 8 gb total 16 gb ddr4 3000 mhz ram gskill rgb
and an aio corsair h100i rgb platinum
Why is he experiencing black screens is it a graphics card issue is a graphics card the same as a display adapter?
