Keep or replace my DDR4 kit?

Its been a while since I build a new pc (3+ years), and even longer than my last AMD PC (good all Phenom II X4 that I still use at work). My new build is based of a Ryzen 5 1600 and an AsRock mobo (B350 Gaming K4).

So I got a 8GBx2 Corsair Vengeance LED DD4 3000 kit because I want to try the whole new RBG thing, and I am having a lot fun getting it cooperate with my system. It will work fine at 1866 Mhz, but is unstable at anything higher (it would consistently crash a Win10 installation at 2133....).

So now I am at a conundrum. I can send back the corsair ram, and replace with a G.Skill kit that is supposed to work (got spoiled with ram just working with Intel systems....).
Or I can wait to see if a BIOS update will let me run the corsair at higher speeds (I am looking for 2400 MHz).

Opinions?

My ram is not on the list, which is I am sure why it is problematic. My question is more about gambling, keep the ram and hope for a BIOS update that fixes it, or drop the pretty LED ram for some ugly yet compatible ram.
