that drive isn't good for cdrs or cdrws. I would give you a link, but I don't remember where I was reading it in some review. it is the leader for pressed discs though. I think it isn't worth it though being over twice the cost of the ltd-163 and I've noticed many posts by owners about problems they're having.

I didn't have to go any farther than cdr info:



Positive (+) :
- Great data performance on pressed CDs
- Great data performace with gold dye media
- Very quiet

Negative (-) :
- Poor performance with blue dye media
- Problems reading RW CDs
- No MMC DAO Raw read support
- High price

this drive I think is a waste of money.
