Hm... I've never heard of that one, but I'm sure it'll be interesting...

I've heard of Afreey; they're quite popular, especially for their prices.
Just the 100x thing I've never heard of.

It's tough to tell when data is corrupted by the RAID, and when Bill Gates decides to push the "Make Fat Burger reinstall Windows" button.

For any home user (even crazy entusiasts), RAID 1 is overkill. Plus, there are lots of programs out there that use SMART technology to warn you when a hard drive is about to fail.

Problem is I'm past crazy:) I've decided on Raid 0, the problem is that I have a 75GXP that hasn't died just yet (40GB), and I seriously don't wish to get another one b/c 75GXP's fail a lot. Guess I'm just RMA it and get 2 20GB maxtors:) When is serial ATA due to come out? I can wait a few months

U got a problem?! Then dial 1800-328-7448!

Don't hold your breath. Serial ATA won't come out for another year, at least. ATA/133, however is here with support for larger hard drives.
