I don't know, Haven't really used afterburner lately. You should find out yourself/search on the web, Sorry :)

i've already go to msi site for after burner and it seems that even the latest beta are pretty much like the older afterburner though with some feature added to it. just asking if anybody here have more clue about it

http://www.techpowerup.com/163889/NVIDIA-GK106-GPU-Detailed.html

the gk106 is
28 nm, around 210 mm² die-area, Kepler architecture
Two Graphics Processing Clusters (GPCs), four Streaming Multiprocessors (SMXs)
768 CUDA cores
64 TMUs, 24 ROPs
192-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, holding 1.5 GB or 2 GB memory
PCI-Express 3.0 bus interface
Around 130W TDP
Speculated performance comparable to GTX 560 Ti and HD 6950, competitive to Radeon HD 7800 series

looks to be the same size as pitcairn with performance just below it.

i have no idea what evga did with precisionX. after i installed it and set my best overclock from precision, 1066 core clock on my 550ti, i go 2 minutes into benching with OC scanner before it "trips" and sets the core @ 450 and stays there unless i reboot 🙁
i watched it and my temps hit 68c . .

Sorry been away for a little while and was reading all the pages here and the rumorville before...infant keeping me busy :) So the 680 is the Kepler Gaming Beast? I had to get rid of my 4890 (AMD) back in January and couldnt wait for Kepler. I was thinking of doing the switch over the summer to Kepler as that's when I will switch to Ivy Bridge (got a i5 SB basically half off).

*Mousemonkey, I know you missed me :) Cheers! *

Yep. I should have posted it earlier. For some reason Tom's won't let me edit the post to say it's out of stock again.

The company I'm working for shows we'll be getting 2 of the EVGA cards in this week, but it's the reference cooler. We normally get shipments Thursday. We'll see.

One thing is for sure, all these issues with supply are costing Nvidia money lol. And I want my cards... in fact, the longer it takes, the more I'm leaning towards waiting for the GK110. Actually being able to purchase a non-reference 680 would probably make a huge difference in that decision though. :)

Nice review. There is some very good overclocking headroom in these cards it seems. I just don't quite understand their power consumption graph:

Either they are using old information in this chart, or the information is conflicting with everything else I've seen. I'm upgrading from a pair of 570s to a pair of 680s. From most of what I've read, the 680s should consume less power, but this chart shows them using more. I don't trust this chart... Am I incorrect in thinking the 680s are less power hungry than the 570s?

i got bug spray . . . really i had to go to the store and get some because my computer "area" has been getting invaded by ants lately . . .
