Funny you say that because I made a comment about how the GK104 was originally supposed to be a mid-range chip in the article about Nvidia's Q1 profits, and got massively downvoted right away....and it's not like I was making some flaming argumentative AMD fanboy post either.

I think you got him mixed up with someone else bro...

Well actually, I wasn't looking to replace my 670 with a single 570..If I went with the 570, I'd be getting two of them.
Pros: Fermi + Folding, 'nuff said? Also, I'll be getting the long PCB I want for my upcoming loop (Not some cut-down PCB that's even smaller than that of a 550Ti), oh, and it'll cost less than my initial decision for 670 SLI.

Cons: More power consumption (Not that I really care that much, unless an AX850 isn't enough), I can't seem to find any EVGA [Reference] models in Australia that don't cost an arm and a leg..(But guess I could just go with the Inno3D model, which is looking very nice right now), PCCG don't have Heatkiller blocks in [yet] for the 570.

Also SLI 570 ≥ SLI 480

Edit: Oh and biggest 'Pro' of all, no GPU Boost :kaola:

I think my decision's going to be pretty straightforward 😉 😛

What's wrong with that? I take benchmarks with a grain of salt... never really any one bench where it's neutral one way or the other. Either pro-nVidia or pro-Radeon.

I like to see gameplay myself.

BigMack70

what do you mean in word "professional " ? everyone can do benchmark on own system.. everyone is smart enough to do this ....

i cna show people on my gtx 480 ... actions with smokes explosives and places when card renders a hardest places ... when on site benchamrks for example for battlefield 3 is only one mission benchark ...

going hunting 😀 lol ..... no exposios or hard action sceses .... only rain and few ships .... yeah it's the same when you play gulf of oman with 64 palyers look at whole map with action ...

Youtube videos don't take the place of review sites. Just have to be perceptive enough to see through the smoke and mirrors.

Like I said, videos are cool but there are unsavory people that will do whatever to show they have that "Golden" Forged in Heaven card so-to-speak.

i have had people debate me that videos of game play are horrible; the frame rate is much lower (27 fps) compared to game play and that a stutter when fps drop from 60 to 45 would go unnoticed. then a bunch of gobbledygook about motion blur and a bunch of other stuff that would cover up other flaws when encoding.

i though it has some relevance but i would think you could at least tell if a configuration (CPU/GPU) would at least be playable in a certain game.

you have a a display showing your fps.

and my favorite part is 0:52 :) imma gonna make a compilation of all your deaths, because you die good
