So i've been getting the Kernel error 41 on my system for a while now and it's driving me crazy. It only happens when I'm loading certain games and play them, for 10-20 mins, after that it randomly cuts off and reboots..thus Kernel error. Now I've tried most things except replace the PSU or mobo, because it's money that i dont have right now. The other reason is the fact that of I go into BIOS and disable Intel Turbo Boost and K OC the issue seems to be gone completely which is why I'm not wiling to pay out for hardware if its not actually the problem. I've read that my mobo (GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 rev. 1.0) is bad at OC with the 4790k which causes this problem. Can anyone help with this issue?

event 41 isn't the cause, its a reaction to the PC restarting without using normal procedures. Win 10 runs a report every startup and if it finds it wasn't shut down properly, it creates event 41. PC restarting without BSOD isn't a windows problem, its hardware

Try removing over clock and see if you still restart
are there any other events like whea logger mentioned?
