Hi,

Just recently upgraded my ram for 12GB (4GB Built-in / 8GB SODIMM Stick). After that upgrade, I'm getting a graphical error (I don't know what it is called) something like this:

I tested the ram in mem test, and it is working fine, no errors occur.

I also have one 2GB DDR4 2400mhz ram which is working totally fine with the laptop I'm using.

Ram Specification (New):
Brand Name: Kingston
Origin: CN(Origin)
Cooling Fin: No
Memory Frequency: 2400 MHz
Function: NON-ECC
Model Number: DDR4 2400MHz
Type: DDR4
Memory Voltage: 1.2V
Frequency: 2400MHZ
Capacity: 8GB

Lenovo IdeaPad 320-14ikb
Specification:
CPU: i5 7200u
GPU: GTX 940mx
RAM: 12 Gb ddr4
SSD: Kingston 240g

Can you parse a link to the additional stick of ram you purchased that was used to populate the empty slot on the laptop to get to 12GB? The ram on the laptop out of the box should be DDR4-2133MHz, so if anything that's the frequency you should've looked for in terms of a ram stick purchase. The memory controller on the processor won't go beyond DDR42133Mhz, so if you dropped in a higher spec'd kit, it'd be running downclocked.

Can you use the serial number on your laptop to bring up a support page on Lenovo's support site, to see if you have BIOS updates pending? OS version at the time of writing(if on Windows 10)?
