Im actually running into Kernel-power 41. Rebooting randomly without BSOD.
My system is:
Mobo: ECS h61h2-m2 Bios V 2.0
Intel® Core™ i5-2310 Processor
Not sure on my RAM, 1x DDR 4GB
PSU Corsair CX 430 (brand new)
Graphics Card (brand new, tested for disabling onboard graphics) EVGA GT210
The following steps were based on advice from other threads on toms, or other forums. For each step I awaited for at least 1 random reboot to move forward and keep testing.
First of all, installed Win7 x64 in a clean slate. Installed all needed and updated drivers.
Then I ran Open Hardware Monitor and CPU-Z, no temperature, voltage or clock looking weird.
next, installed new PSU, then graphics card. Disabled Intelspeedstep on bios, aswell as any overclock setting, and onboard audio card.
next, deleted RACTASK and removed ALL sleep settings and energy saving options.
Ran memtest86, all good with my RAM. Checked mobo for defective caps, none bent or busted.
The reboots come fast and without BSOD, they got better, but still happening with cold boot, after 1-2 hours rolling I can work all day (8am-5pm) without a problem, but the first hour i still get 1-4 random reboots. I got better with heat and after installing the graphics card. I'm guessing some circuit or mobo/processor pin got busted/bent somehow and it is dilating with heat and working fine after that. Thoughts ? What did I forget to test ?
