I have a client call me the other day about a keyboard issue.
seems that when he touches the keys it requires him to hold down the key for
a long time and then it finally types. seems that there is now a keyboard
sound also, before there was none.
being that he is currently in another state, I am unable to sit in front of
it and see first hand.
my thought was that the keyboard might be going, different known good used
yet it still had the grief. ok , maybe the port itself, had him try a USB
keyboard. still have to hold the keys for a long time before you get a
letter to type.
at this point, I have to believe it's a Trojan / virus or corrupt file
maybe.

any input would be helpful

Sounds like Sticky key and Filter Key options have been set in
Accessability Options, Keyboard.
