I have a Dell Inspiron 1440. Just recently my keyboard has started typing the wrong letters such as:
7 = y67
u = 67
& if i hold down the keys "y" or "u", it types "7".
It all started when my laptop died (meaning it didn't shut down properly) & when I cut it back on, I noticed it on the welcome screen when I had to enter my password. Sometimes, it types by itself. the second & third row of keys won't work except for 7, u & y. I truly need help. I've tried almost everything. I DO NOT have a NumLock key & it is not set on sticky keys or toggle keys. I tried changing the Regional & Language setting & that didn't work. Help me pleaseeee.
