Keyboard malfunction

Hello.
my keyboard has a specific problem with the backspace button, maybe because i use it too much correcting documents, but actually cannot erase words, letters or phrases when necessary. Is it because of dust ? But i bought it just one year ago, it's practically new or is it a major probleme? My system OS is windows 7 and i work with msword 2010. Computer lenovo thinkcenter 58e. Thanks in advance for any possible solution.

Your key could be dead or "Ghosting". ghost is when you press multiple keys constantly and only a few of the commands or only 1 works... Or also can just apply to one action.

Thanks a lot for your kind response but there's not so much experience of my part you see I'm over 67yrs old and a handicap. I can understand your point but there is no reference as to how to solve the problem. Thanks any way for yr effort to help. I'll try to contact Lenovo.
