Question Keyboard sometimes won't type any symbols

Hi, I have a strange problem with my keyboard that I haven't been able to find a fix for with any simple searches.

Every now and then my keyboard will refuse to type at all, no numbers letters spaces etc. But my computer does pick up the other non-symbol keys, I can press escape to open the menu in a game and ctrl, alt, backspace, delete seem to work as well.

It seems to happen fairly randomly as far as I can tell, but for whatever reason typing into the youtube search bar always fixes it, I'm able to type into the search bar no problem and afterwords I can type into anything. Still its fairly annoying and has started to happen on my lock screen so I have to pull up the on screen keyboard to put my passcode in, so if anyone knows whats going on that would be a great help.

Make and model of your keyboard? If this is an USB driven keyboard, try and hook it up to another/donor system and see if the issue persists on said donor platform. You might also want to see if your chipset drivers are installed for your platform. Speaking of drivers, what OS are you working with?

I'm using an akko 3061, but I get the same issue when I plug in my ducky one 3 mini, whether they're both plugged in or not. And I'm on Windows 11.

edit: also it seems to persist through unplugging and plugging the keyboard back in, and affects my separate usb num-pad too.
