As you can see ffrrom my typing, it will rrandomly add an additional charracter on a single press.
It iss extremely annoying, but I think it has to be a software related issue, as this is tthe third keyboard I've had this issue wwith.

Unplugging it doesn't doo anything, rerstarting the computer doesnt do anything, vvirrus scans come up clean.

Pleasee help.

Thank you.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

As I understand your post, three keyboards have done the same on the computer - correct?

If there are any keyboard manufacturer software/tools installed there may be a setting to control key repeat speeds.

I.e., if a key is held down or pressed for more than "X" amount of time then the key begins to repeat. You may simply need to increase that wait time a bit.

Meaning that your typing method / style tends to sometimes (as you describe the problem) cause keys to repeat faster than your fingers release key pressure. The system will simply wait a bit longer before beginning to repeat any given key.

Two features/functions: 1) how long the key is held down before repeats begin and 2) the speed of the resulting repeats.

Look in the manufacturer's software settings for any controls relating to key hold down times and character repeats there after.

Another place to look:

System > Accessibility > Keyboard (likely you will need to scroll down to see "Keyboard").

Also check Personalization

And take a look at any games or gaming related apps/ tools. There may be some keyboard/key controls therein.
