Just assembled my first custom rig, & a new Keyboard is all I have left to purchase. I'm looking to keep it <$100, but $150+ is fine if it will show noticeable improvements. My main concern is that it will be compatible with the layout of my Mancave.

I have my PC next to my desk, about 2 feet from my current keyboard. However, I intend to take my new keyboard ~10 feet away to play games on my TV.

I am worried a wireless keyboard will be fine for checking email on my monitor 2 feet away, but will show problems when I take it 10 feet across the room to play on my TV.

This leads me to believe I should buy a wired keyboard, & possibly a cord extension to make it the 10 feet to my TV. But even here, I am lost as to whether to buy a USB keyboard, or an old-school ps2 board (I have read ps2 is superior for gaming?).

Looking for advice/suggestions...

Solution
i would stick to wired usb. Get a 12v hub instead of an extension. I dont care how expensive the wireless ones are, there is always some sort of delay, or interference.
