Hey all! Just thought I'd let you know about the killer gaming rig I am building! I should see some really high FPS in FEAR and Oblivion won't be diddly!

AMD Athlon 900MHz Slot A (OC'd to 905MHz)
Generic Slot A MB (No USB, AGP, Firewire, PCIe, NIC), 4 PCI, 3 ISA slots
128MB PC133 RAM
Onboard audio
4X CD-ROM
5.25/3.5 FDD
20GB ATA33 HDD at 5400RPM
PC Power & Cooling 1000W Power Supply

As for the video, I am torn between three choices: STB Lightspeed 128, GeForce MX4000, or the RADEON 9250.

I won't be using speakers, just some headphones I got from Wal*Mart

You wont even be able to run XP on that rig... tryin to install FEAR or Oblivion will yeild the secret "GG PWNT" screen shot with a picture of some big hairy man railing your girlfriend.

XP's for punks. I am going to run Windows 3.11/OS X/Vista/Linux (ubuntu). I think I am going to have to upgrade the hard drive to 40GBs though.

Oh, and I am dropping the PS. Instead, I am just going to hardwire it into the plug in the wall.

I hope you were joking with the XP comment. My friend's PII/233 from IBM runs it fine.
