Is Kingmax Ram the best ram avaliable for the PC??? Out of say, Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Apacer/OEM and so on....
The reason I ask is because, they majority of ram is made in such huge quantities in places like taiwan, where as USA labeled ram, seems to be of better quality...
I dont know, thats why I posted this message, to get other pplz view on Ram Brands!

I've never used Kingmax, but I remembered a good review Agg of Overclockers Australia did some time back comparing two kinds of Kinmax to Corsair CAS2. Find it at:

I only re-read the conclusion that that the Corsair CAS2 is faster, but much more expensive (at the time of the article).

You can also find various memory reviews at places like:

I current use a couple of types, but the best seeems to be the Mushkin High Performance rev. 2. This looks like some of the most overclockable RAM out there and currently sells for US$139.00 for a 128meg DIMM or US$266.00 for two DIMMS.

Memory Man also sells many different types of RAM, some cheap, but some very good stuff:

Of course, I'm in the USA and I'm not sure where you live. If not in the US, I presume that shipping/tax could play a major role in your choice.

I'd check out all the sites I listed above. As a whole, they cover most of the current high-end choices

I view Corsair as the best choice (and I sell it to my customers so I'm probably biased :)
Mushkin and Memory Man make high-quality memory as well. But in addition to high quality & high performance, Corsair also provides qualifications. They test their memory in their very own temperature chamber on a whole array of boards, including all types of server boards like the Intel boards we use for our own entry-level to mid-end servers.
On top of that I have access to technical support, and believe me, with high-end memory systems you need that.

Just my $0.02
