Hi everyone,
today i bough 2x4GB Kingston Hyper X Fury 1866MHz for my PC.
Here my pc specs:

i3 530 @3.5GHz with Noctua NH-D14 (for 1600MHz RAM)
MSI H55M-E33 as motherboard
GTX 660 EVGA

I already have Kingston KVR RAM 2x2gb 1333MHz and they work fine.
This is how i installed my new RAM.

- Turned off PC
- Inserted new RAM
- Entered BIOS to set everything on default
- Turned ON

However while Windows 8.1 was loading my pc suddently shut down and restarted and Windows started attempting recovery, restarted again.
Furious i entered bios to check settings.

CPU Freq : 3.5GHz
Ram voltage : 1.5V
Ram frequency : 1600MHz
Timings : 8 8 8 23

I tried to do a memtest my pc restarts right at the beginning......
I changed timings to the suggested 10-10-10-30 by kingston for 1600MHz
NOTHING

Tried fail save defaults (1333MHz RAM and 2.9GHz CPU) NOTHING

Desperate i now seek for your help. Thank you.
I may be wrong but i think timings are the ones to be fixed, however i don't understand why my pc did not set them automatically.

When you set the RAM speed and timings, you're setting them for all of the sticks installed, not for any specific stick or pair of them. If you mix sticks that weren't binned and sold as a set, especially if they're not identical make, model, speed, timings, if they work at all your system is going to default them to the lowest common settings and speed.

How do you have them configured, i.e. which sticks are in which slots?

I completely removed old sticks and tried new ones....
Forgot to mention that when trying dual channel configuration (both stick on blue slots) i get stuck at mobo screen and it doesn't beep.
With only 1 stick i have the problems i mentioned in the main post.

May have a 530 that is just short on handling the sticks or the sticks may not be setting up ( a reason most all sticks run on XMP), might go into the BIOS and raise the DRAM voltage to 1.6 and give that a try - if no joy give me a shout and we'll add a little voltage to the MC (memory controller) or drop them to run at 1600

I tried @1333MHz 1.6V and @1600MHz 1.6V BOTH NOT WORKING
I'm sure my cpu supports 1600MHz RAM (i overclocked my i3 530 to force the memory controller work with my KVR sticks overclocked at 1600MHz, from 1333)
There's something i didn't try however : i haven't increased my CPU voltage from stock. I never had to since my system was always stable, before trying i'd like to know if it could be an answer since changing ram sticks under an NH-D14 is pretty "painful"

Did some looking, I haven't worked with these sticks to any real degreee, but know they depend on PnP for setup rather than XMP and also use high density 4Gbit chips which I don't think are compatible w/ the H55 chipset, may just be incompatible...Might PM KingstonHQ he should be able to confirm and might be able to help

Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. As Tradesman1 stated the HyperX Fury 4GB memory is high density and not supported by your motherboard and CPU. Our currently manufactured memory supports Intel 6-series chipsets with Sandy bridge CPUs and later generation chipsets/CPUs. We recommend checking our Memory Search by looking up your motherboard to verify if it is supported, found here: http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/options/ . If your motherboard is not listed than we no longer support that system or if a newly release model we may not have evaluated it's compatibility yet. We are here to help and can advise on what would best suit your system based on compatibility and the use of the system. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.

As you can read below 1600MHz fury sticks seem to be compatible. Since i have nothing to lose help me setting correct timings for 1600MHz since i can try force them to work this way. I am pretty sure 8-8-8-23 for 1600mhz as my board sets is not good.

Wait,
http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/MSI/MSI_H55M-E33/2315/Compatible_RAM
1600MHz fury sticks seem to be compatible with my board, 1866mhz sticks are just overclocked 1600 sticks from as far as i know.
Shouldn't i be able to run them somehow by manually forcing them to 1600MHz?

EDIT : Also if they were completely uncompatible i wouldn't even be able to boot but i actually can, it crashes while loading windows with a BSoD, too tight timings can't be the problem?

The problem is not the speed of the memory. The issue is with the components that make up the memory. Our current generation 4GB memory modules are high density or single rank which means they use 4Gbit DRAM components. The memory controller in pre-Sandy Bridge processors do not support 4Gbit DRAM and cannot communicate with it properly which causes the crashing. When it comes to resellers matching memory they do so based on general specifications such as DDR3 1600MHz and do not list density or ranking as a specification which makes shopping for memory complicated. If you are unable to return the memory to your place of purchase, please contact our UK support for assistance. http://www.kingston.com/en/company/contacts

I bought them from Amazon, not from a reseller. Can i really return the RAM sticks for compatibility issues? Otherwise, can you (Kingston) help me get other ram sticks compatible with my board by replacing these ones?

Luckily Amazon accepted to refound my purchase for the compatibility issues. Now, i still need new RAM sticks capable to support at least 1600MHz (higher is even better) but compatible with my board. I need them to be 2x4gb. Any suggestions?
