I wanted to buy the kingston memory because it's the cheapest available from the place I'm going to purchase but in Kingstons website they state that all the HyperX kits are set to 1.65V and Intel recommend 1.5V RAM for their processors. So my questions are:

Can I just stick the RAM and not worry about my CPU getting damaged/overheated ?
If no: Can I set the voltage to 1.5V and expect the RAM to work just fine ?

Wrong.
Here's what I found on the interwebs :)

Memory Voltage - Intel recommend 1.50v plus/minus 5% which means upto 1.58v is the safe recommended limit. In our testing we have found 1.65v has caused no issues.

Just using 1.65v RAM voids the CPU warranty. 1.575v is the maximum that Intel recommends. If you don't care about that you can use 1.65v RAM. You just risk damaging the CPU.

You can sometimes get 1.65v RAM to operate at 1.5v at a lower speed. This isn't always the case though.

My recommendation: Spend a bit more to get 1.5v RAM.

Will do. Was already thinking about the new Corsair Vengeance series designed for SB and they look good enough. Thanks for the replies.
