Solution
They are suppose to automatically themselves to to their spec freq or the highest freq they can run with the given mobo and CPU - here it could be a weaker 6300 (the individual CPUs MC (memory controller) or it may be a BIOS thing (not fully set up for PnP sticks)
Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer our assistance. Our HyperX Fury memory is Plug and Play, so it should run at the highest speed supported by your motherboard and CPU combo. Since your motherboard supports 1866MHz memory, it may be that your CPU does not. Or it could have to do with the way the memory is installed in the motherboard, make sure the memory is installed as recommended by your motherboard manual. For further assistance, please contact us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for choosing HyperX.

Your mobo spec say "2 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz "

Read your mobo manual. Find how to enable XMP. It'll be in say OC tweaking or such.

My cpu is amd fx 6300

my cpu is fx 6300

So did Mr Kingston above get it wrong with the "plug n play"?
