In Nar Shadda, I'm having some trouble with the Aaida and Lootra
quest. I've met Lootra, and I'm supposed to somehow spring his wife
(Aaida) from the refugee camp. I just can't figure out how.

I started by talking to Lootra at the docks, then to the doormen
guards to the refugee level who tell me to talk to their boss. OK,
off to the boss, who cuts me off and tells me it's none of my
business. That's that.

A walk through says all I have to do is kill the two doorman thugs at
the entrance to the refugee camp level. Done. Nope. Only option to
conclude this quest is a [LIE] option which tells her the coast is
clear. Apparently, this option is the darkside version, where you
send her off to get killed for escaping. I don't get the light side
version.

OK, so I figure it might be the other guards in her way. So, I clear
out all the Exchange guards. Pissing them off by stealing from the
footlockers and metal boxes they're guarding, and then attacking them.
OK, All dead, still not good enough for her.

OK, so I kill the mob boss. Nope.

Fine, I'll eliminate the other gang too. Argh! That's still not good
enough for her!

Did anyone successfully manage to end this quest on the light side?

I am playing a light-sided character and finished that mission recently.
My fix was to simply kill all the Exchange in the docks. All of them.
Check all areas.

Also, you MIGHT need to talk to the head of the refugees and tell him
that the Exchange boss is dead. He somewhere in the middle of the pack
of refugees; check the names of each refugee and talk to those who have
a unique name. If you tell him that the boss is dead (and assuming all
the guards are dead as well), that will mean they are free of the
Exchange. Presumably, this will be enough for Aaida to now leave.

Thanks. I replayed it last night tried your suggestions. In my case,
it wasn't the key to it though -- or maybe it was delayed. The
refugee leader just kept rotating through thank yous for all the help,
and Aaida still wanted to be lied to. I had given up and decided to
go back to the ship. Guess what? On stepping over the threshold to
the room containing the exit portal (near where the two doormen guards
are), up pops a quest log update to go talk to Aaida.

It was really quite weird as I had stepped over this threshold a few
times to report to Lootra (the husband) and get back already when I
eliminated all of the exchange (by threatening squiddy over the
kidnapped girl) and the Serroco. Anyways, thanks for the help.
