Question KVM switch for 4K - need recommendation

Hello everyone,

I need some good advice on a KVM switch for a 4K monitor. Here's my setup:

• Home computer is a Dell Optiplex 980 with a Gigabyte GV-N1030OC-2GI video card
• I'm using one monitor - LG 32UK550-B
• Keyboard and mouse: Logitech K800 and M720
• Bose Companion external speakers
• Work laptop is a Dell (not sure of the model), but it has an i5-9300H CPU @2.4GHz and 8GB RAM; Intel UHD Graphics 630 video card
• Both computers run on Windows 10

Two big concerns, based on what I've read, are a) getting a KVM switch that's fully compatible with my keyboard/mouse, and b) one that won't break the bank.

I'd love to hear your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Your computer only have HDMI and DVI video output.
Model of your Dell laptop must be released in order to check the video output(s) spec. of it.

Once the information all filled, then it will be easier to give a right recommendation of KVM switch solution for you.
