Yes. 32 bit windows will use about 3.25 gb, but this can vary with the onboard video setting. I would use cpuz to check your ram speed. It will be displayed as half the actual speed (1600 will read 800). If necessary, you may want to try setting the speed manually in the bios using "manual" mode. But I let the motherboard select the timings. Leave that setting in "auto".
