LAN on LAN off (Nforce2)

Sometimes this LAN works. sometimes it cannot connect. my PCI LAN card
always works. is this a driver/BIOS issue?

Is it a Gigabyte motherboard?
If so their onboard lan sockets are oversized in many cases !

I had same problem with 7n400 mobo, sent it back to retailer for refund.

It seemed the lan socket was too large for standard plug !
