Laptop AC adapter question

Hi there, pretty new to this so please bear with me
My laptop's AC adapter was damaged so I ordered a new one from ebay, but the specs of the AC adapter are not the same as the one they were supposed to send so I am not sure if it's safe or not and so far my google searches for the answer has been unsuccessful.
OEM adapter = Input 100-240V ~1.5A, 50-60hz
output: 19V 3.16A

New Adapter = Input 100-240V ~1.8A 50-60Hz
output: 19V 3.16A

Safe or not?

The output is what's important. As long as the amperage is at least the same as your old adapter and the voltage is the same, it should be just fine.
