Question Laptop Cpu idling at 95C

My friend's laptop CPU is idling at 95C and the GPU is idling at 75C this happened 2 months after he bought the laptop. Any idea why this happened or how to fix this? ples

Because your friend just bought the laptop, call the seller or manufacturer for warranty. If you try to do somethings, that may or may not void the warranty.

ask him to double-check the fan settings in MSI Afterburner, it's possible he accidentally set the fan speed manually and it's stuck on a low RPM. Should look something like this...

There are no fan settings in MSI afterburner I think because its a laptop but thanks anyways. im gonna email asus about this
