Discussion Laptop for Large Excell files

What is the best Laptop Specs (CPU) for processing large excel spread sheets files!

70,000 Records , and sometimes reaching 90,000 records, with composite formulas (formulas that process data resulting from other formulas).

Currently we are working on hp laptop 15 with i7-7500 processor, 16GB RAM, SSD 960GB. When working on this system, excel shows not responding, then produces results after 10 minutes.
Is it a processor problem, RAM, or both

I too work on large Excel files and found Excel to be odd. It will often sit there calculating with no cpu core anywhere near 100% and less than 70% RAM usage. However upgrading each had significant benefit.

That probably a i7-7500u, low power cpu, 2 cores with 4 threads
