Question Laptop freezes semi-randomly, even during memory testing

Since last month my hp laptop started to incur into black screen freezes during gaming. To me more precise the audio stops abruptly, the screen flashes some pixels but the most of it stays black but still powered, keyboard and mouse become unresponsive and it doesn't lead to a bsod, doesn't even leave traces in the event viewer (except for the forced shutdown) nor it generates minidumps. It usually happens during heavy load activities like gaming or very lenghty stress tests (like the 2 hour long test from the intel processor diagnostic tool) and it tends to increase in frequency for a day/two day period after the initial freeeze. I ran various diagnostic tools (DISM, sfc, intel processor diagnostic, memtest86, windows memory diagnostic, hp diagnostics) and found no errors, except when it froze after the intel processor diagnostic, it didn't generate any files tho. After that i ran memtest86 again and it froze again multiple times (could be due to the post crash sensitivity i've noticed before), I'm currently writing from the same pc and there have been no crashes in 20 minutes as of now. The freezes also seem to occur with almost 100% certainty after trying to reopen the application (memtest included) that caused a freeze if done quickly enough (as an example, trying to reopen memtest or a game right after restarting the laptop almost ensures another freeze)

Drivers, bios and os are updated, it seems to be an hardware issue, I'd like help to pinpoint the cause to see if there's some hope to fix it.

Specs:
hp laptop 17-cn1000
Win 11 24H2
11th gen i5 processor
iris xe integrated graphics card
RAID SSD
20 GB RAM total (4GB stick from producer, 16GB stick from Crucial) DDR4 3200

For the record, the laptop is about 4/5 years old, the 16GB stick is 7 months old, I'll try to run memtest again after making the pc "rest" for an hour or so, I suspect a graphic card problem since it shares the memory with the processor, but I'm not ruling out the memory for now. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

RAID SSD
Please elaborate.

I'd try and remove the 16GB stick of ram and see if you're able to regain stability on your laptop. Speaking of laptop, if you're able to go onto the www and onto your laptop's support site, you might want to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates.

I suspect a graphic card problem since it shares the memory with the processor, but I'm not ruling out the memory for now.
You could try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Nvidia, AMD and Intel) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Intel's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Name of the game(s) you're taxing the laptop with? Where did you source the installers for the game(s) from?

Moved thread from Systems section to Laptop Tech Support section.

Read the wrong name for the ssd, it's a kbg50znv512g kioxia. BIOS is updated, the games causing the crash the most (but only because i mostly play those I guess) are league of legends and starcraft 2, both installed from the official launchers. I'll try using safe mode and see if something happens again.

About the ram stick, yesterday I ran memtest three times for a total of 12 passes of tests and nothing was found
