Laptop Keyboard problem

I have a input problem with my keyboard. It is not input delay. My keyboard holds my input for several seconds after I let go. My mouse does not have this problem (even if I bind the same buttons). If I plug in a second keyboard it has the same problems as the laptop keyboard. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Laptop make and model? Specs? OS?

Windows?

Try running the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Also try "dism" and "sfc /scannow". Could be some buggy or corrupted files involved.

Another thing to do is go to the manufacturer's website for that second keyboard (external - correct)?

Manually download the applicable drivers and then reinstall and reconfigure.
