Hiya. Could use a hand from people a little more tech savvy than me.
One moment an external SATA hard drive connected via USB is working fine, and then the next it disappears from File Explorer. Reconnecting it, trying different USB ports, and going through Windows Update didn't seem to do the trick.
I tried finding it through Disk Management, no luck there either.
This exact set of problems persist with a second external hard drive.
I can't find any faulty drivers on Device Manager, and uninstalling a SATA driver didn't work either.
Has anyone experienced this before or have a clue of what the problem might be?
Thanks.
