I opened one laptop bcs, the screen was kind of flickering (it fell down 2 times before) and also I want to clean it put new thermal paste also. After opening it's not turning back on and the IC-IT8987E, MS408 heating up. Any idea about it.

Thanks alot for the reply, It's hp pavilion 15-p210tx. After repairing it works once but when put everything on not turning back on also the IC-IT8987E and MS408 heating up so much and also the power indicator not working too.

Do you hear any beeps?
You should take it apart and inspect the components carefully.
Check that the heasink have been installed properly and there is thermal paste
If the heatsink heatpipe is damaged (cracked) the laptop will heat-up and shutdown.
The heatpipe cools both the CPU and GPU.

Hey,
It's not making any beeps at all. And I will check the heat pipe and the other components too. But why those IC's (IC-IT8987E and MS408) heating up? And it's not even showing any sign of life.
