Laptop partition space problem

Hello, I hope I come to the right place to get answers. Recently, I have a low disk space problem with my laptop C partition. It has affected the performance of my laptop in many ways. Yesterday, it even stopped me installing a video editing program. So, I think it is the time to resolve this problem. Do you have any idea for me to remove this low disk space problem? Should I buy a new drive to instead the old one? Thank you for any suggestion! One more thing, I am using Windows 7.

first did you clean up the cookies and temp files use ccleaner to do it .

How about telling us more about your system. Such as how big your "C" drive is, does the drive have two or more partitions (is there a "D" drive?) so that you could expand the "C" partition into.
