just in terms of CPU what would you choose?

A10-4600m

or

I3-2350m

is 80 dollars worth the a10, I'm mostly going to be doing programming for school and other school stuff, nothing intensive. I wouldn't mid gaming on it but I don't need to.

the computers are as follows
A10:

I3:

again what would you buy.

Solution
For gaming, yes its worth the better graphics the A10 will give you. Everything else, no. BTW, this thread seems familiar lol. As far as CPU performance, the A10 actually manages to perform on par with the i3, at least in desktop models. Laptop performance should be consistent.

 i dont know what your talking about...

a new sale started today and the a10 came into question

i saw on
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html

that the a10 was about 25 spots down but then again it my be worth the 80 bucks to get gaming options

I guess it depends on what games you plan to play, lol. But like I said in your last thread, (that doesn't really exist :p ), since laptops right out of the gate aren't as good as desktops and not as easily/cheaply upgraded, nothing wrong with future proofing a little bit. I'd probably pick the A10. In the *ahem* other thread, gaming wasn't a concern.

But yea, the i3 one has Intel HD3000 graphics, they can't even begin to touch what Trinity A-10s have.
