Question Laptop screen broke, no signal from HDMI out to external screen ?

First time posting, sorry if this isn't the right place. I have a toshiba satellite radius p55w-85112 running windows 10. My screen stopped working. I was able to use the hdmi out to a tv screen but it only works in safe mode. If I restart the toshiba logo shows up, but when it would normally be the login screen it says no signal. Help?

have you tried reseating LCD cable on both sides? Mobo and lcd ??
