I created another thread about this for some weeks ago but I decided to create a new one now that I have more information about my issue.
So it all started when I decided to change the battery of my laptop. When I tried to start it after the change, I got no image from the internal screen but connecting an external, works fine.
So decided to go for a new cable for my internal screen. I got it today and the problem is still the same. The internal screen will only show backlight only after it gets into windows but will remain totally black when on POST. Still, the external screen works fine. So I wonder if this can really be a faulty LCD display? Since the backlight works. What about the lid switch?
