Hi, i have a laptop hp pavilion gaming 15dk0xxx (cant find the exact model), it has inteil i5-9300h, gtx 1650, RAM 12 GB, Kingston SNVS500G 500 GB SSD and it uses windows 11 since January.

The problem is that in random moments the laptop seems to be slowing down for some seconds, i can know this because my mouse freezes for some seconds (both the touchpad and the usb mouse) and the app remote play for PS5 missregister what i touch. Already defragmented, checked the laptop with malwarebytes but no avail, what can i do?

i would first go to the manufacturer website and ensure all updates for drivers are completed. or use iobit - driver booster to find and install them easier.

afterwards;

search >" CMD "
run CMD with elevated access ( administrator privilege's)

sfc /scannow (process will take some time to complete)

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (process will take some time to complete again)

chkdsk /r

how long have you had the laptop, and do you use it to game on regularly? it could be thermal throttling if you do not have adequate airflow under it. have you ever had to perform a fresh application of thermal paste/pads?
