I'm using windows 8.1. I tried scanning for it once before and it paired but not really. I think I accidentally cancelled the driver installations at one point, and it somehow says paired but doesn't connect. Obviously the headset is on. I tried removing it from paired devices and it said error a few times but eventually I removed it and tried pairing again but with no avail. No idea what to do. The model is Rampage RBT-18 "Blissful". Help this idiot out please.

Make and model laptop?

Have you tried the headset on another known working computer with Bluetooth?

Do any other Bluetooth devices connect and work with the laptop?
I tried connecting another pair and they worked, took a little while though.
Manufacturer is Hewlett-Packard, model is HP 15 Notebook PC. No clue what the make is exactly. The Blissful headset works on my other devices, and so do these earphones

Only two thoughts at this time:

1) Are you using built-in Bluetooth or a USB Bluetooth adapter?

2) Is your installation of Windows 8.1 up to date?

If Bluetooth does work then not likely to be a hardware problem.

Consider reinstalling the laptop's Bluetooth drivers.

A newer version may improve the pairing performance.
