Question Laptop wont output to TV (LG uj6200)

So I have a laptop (HP Spectre x360) that isn't working with a TV (LG uj6200). I plug my laptop into the TV with hmdi, and my laptop detects the display and acts as if it is outputing, but does the TV says there is no input. It seems like the TV sees that there is something plugged into the HDMI port, but again says no input.

It was working about a week ago, nothing notable has changed.
The laptop's HDMI port is working, tested with a monitor.
Multiple HDMI cables have been tried.
TV's HDMI ports do work, tested with roomates laptop.
Graphics drivers hadn't been updated, updating did not fix the issue.

Any suggestions on what to try?

Same problem happened with me. I switched the end of the cable between my pc and tv. Somehow it worked. Not sure if that's gonna help you.
